- Keď niektorí hovorili o chráme, že je vyzdobený krásnymi kameňmi a
- pamätnými darmi, Ježiš povedal: "Prídu dni,
- keď z toho, čo vidíte, nezostane kameň na kameni.
- Všetko bude zborené." Oni sa ho opýtali:
- "Učiteľ, kedy to bude a aké bude znamenie, keď sa to začne
- diať?" On odpovedal: "Dajte si pozor, aby vás
- nezviedli, lebo prídu mnohí v mojom mene, budú hovoriť: 'To som
- ja, a ten čas je už blízko.' Nechoďte za nimi.
- A keď budete počuť o vojnách a nepokojoch, nezľaknite
- sa. Toto musí prísť predtým, ale koniec
- nebude hneď. Potom im povedal:
- "Národ povstane proti národu a kráľovstvo proti
- kráľovstvu. Budú veľké zemetrasenia a
- miestami hladomor.
- Budú hrôzy a veľké znamenia na nebi."

- Dear brothers and sisters, it's my
- second visit to this
- important missionary office of the
- Pontifical Mission Society here in Bratislava.
- And
- here,
- I'm here today, first of all, to say
- thank you to all of you, especially to Father Ivan and all
- his team, because I feel that
- this office is like the heart of the
- missionary, huh, (laughs) activities in all
- our beloved country of Slovakia
- And
- also I'm here because I would like to
- thank all of our brothers and sisters here
- in Slovakia for their
- awareness in feeling the
- closeness to the missionary activity of the church, that through
- this office goes throughout all Slovakia and all
- around the world
- Pope
- Francis in the World Message for the
- Mission Sunday this year we celebrate last
- October, told us that we
- shall become and be witness
- of the Lord in the world
- Mission
- goes together with witness. We cannot be
- authentic missionary if we are not
- witness of the Lord
- Mission
- is one of the pillar of our
- faith. We are baptized, we
- are Christians because we are called to
- go, to go, to have this
- awareness of-- missionary awareness, to
- let all our brothers and sisters around the world to
- be part of this mission
- And
- today, dear brothers and sisters, in our prayer, in
- our meditation, we say to the Lord,
- "I would like to be a missionary, and at the same
- time, a witness.

- can be missionary even if we remain in
- our house, even if we remain in
- our reality, because what is important, as
- we see here in Slovakia, is to have a
- missionary heart
- And
- the missionary heart goes together with witness
- Witness
- of the Lord.
- Like we have proclaimed in the reading today, in these
- last days of the liturgical year, we are
- reading on the first reading text of
- Daniel

- And God tells us that we must
- remain faithful to what He
- has given to us and to what we have promised to
- Him.
- A Boh nám odkazuje, že musíme si stále zachovať vieru, ehm, v
- tom, čo nás čaká, čo nám odkazuje.
- When we have-- when we have strong faith like
- Daniel, we feel the presence of the Lord in
- our heart.
- Keď máme silnú veru ako Daniel, tak si zachovávame prítomnosť
- Boha v našom srdci.
- And we can see with the eyes of God, with the
- eyes of the Lord in our heart, as Daniel, who had this gift
- to explain, to see eh, what
- God was inspiring him through the king
- Nebuchadnezzar.
- Keď si zachováme vieru v našom srdci, tak vidíme Božími očami,
- videl Božími očami a dokázal vysvetliť Božie slovo.
- Strong faith to be fit and witness and
- missionary. But also, like we have proclaimed
- in the Gospel, we have to be always ready because we
- know when the Lord comes.
- Viera a svedectvo, uhm, nás určia tomu, že musíme byť
- stále pripravenými, pretože nikdy nevieme, kedy, uhm, je potrebné
- svedčiť.
- And the Lord told us today in the Gospel, "Be careful,
- be careful, because there are many false prophets,
- many people who want deceive us."
- Pán Boh nás upozorňuje, že musíme byť opatrní, pretože teraz je vo
- svete veľa falošných pr-prorokov, ktorí nás snažia
- sa zviesť na cestu, svoju cestu.
- We have to be ready because we have the Lord in our
- heart. Having the Lord in our heart, we are ready
- to receive Him whenever he wi— whenever He will come.
- A musíme byť stále pripravení, pripravení, pretože Pán Boh môže prísť v
- ktoromkoľvek momente.
- So dear brothers and sisters, we continue our
- missionary, you know, awareness and our witness to the Lord
- with hope, enthusiasm, and joy.
- Takže bratia a sestry, budeme pokračovať v našom misijnom--
- obozretnosti, aby sme boli s-- aby sme boli schopní svedčiť.
- Very soon we will celebrate Christmas.
- And so, at Christmas, our missionary
- heart will become bigger and
- larger.
- Veľmi skoro budeme sláviť Vianoce a počas Vianoc bude naše
- misijné srdce oveľa väčšie.
- For two reason. First, to support, you know, the
- missionary activity work of your office here
- in Bratislava and in Slovakia.
- Sú na to dôvody. Jedným z nich je aj podporovať, uhm,
- aktivity, ktoré sú napríklad aj vykonávané
- kancelárie.
- And secondly, with prayer, because when we pray, we become more
- aware that we have to be missionary and
- witness. Amen.
- A po druhé, je to samozrejme modlitba, pretože tá nás učí
- byť, uhm, Božími svedkami, uhm, a zachovávať si vieru.
- Amen.
